“A family vibe hostel ”

This is the best hostel I've been in Australia, everyone is so nice and welcoming. Good location, clean rooms & swimming pool. The wifi in central areas was alright. Kitchen. Well equiped. Really good family vibe, perfect for solo backpacker. Review by Maude (23-Jan-2017)

Fab hostel, good value for money, friendly staff!

Great little hostel on the esplanade, wonderful friendly staff. We had a private double room which was good value for money. Air con and fan in the room was brilliant in tropical Queensland. Review by Helen (17-Jan-2017)

Great hostel!

Very quiet and nice hostel. Perfect for relaxing Kitchen is very big, rooms are comfortable and are cleaned everyday. Swimming pool area is awesome! If you are travelling by yourself or with friends I totally recommend this one. It is 10min walking from Woolworths, pubs, clubs and shops. There is a curfew at 23h, so after this time no one can stay in the common area anymore. I thought it was a bit of a party hostel, but it is not at all. Cairns Carvella the Esplanade - a good choice

+ “The staff were very helpful, the location just a short walk from the centre, there was a lovely pool, and each room had its own fridge ( no central communal fridge).” - The rooms could use a few hooks to hang things. + “Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage direkt an der Esplanade. Von dort aus ist das City Center super leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer und die Geimnschaftsküche sind sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und auch das Bad war gut ausgestattet umd sauber. Excellent stay

We stayed for two nights in oct 2016. We only had a short stay but Jodie and Amy at reception were able to guide us where to go and where the best place was for certified divers. The hostel was clean and had a nice vibe. We had a double room which included a fridge and aircon which was great. There were lots of people there and lots of social areas for cooking and relaxing. It never felt crowded however and was never noisy at night which allowed good sleep. Jodie also showed us several walks and cafés to visit. The location of the hostel is perfect and our dive trip with Poseidon picked us up outside the hostel. Really great stay, thanks Review by Claire smith (28-Oct-2016)

Keep it a secret

Perfect

Couldn't have asked for a nicer first hostel in our trip. The people at reception were super helpful and recognised you daily. beautiful pool. Lovely cafe next door for Indonesian food. + “Отель по деньгам. Я брал с отдельным душем и туалетом. Кухня нормальная, кондей, вентилятор, холодильник, горячая вода,все работает как и во всей Австралии. Ребята доброжелательны. Everything was accessible
